McGregor- Eleva V. Ferguson, 96, died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in Great River Care Center after a brief illness. Family memorial services will be at a later date in Giard Cemetery. Garrity Funeral Home, Prairie du Chien, Wis., is assisting the family.

Surviving are a brother, Ret. Cpt. Earl (Virginia) Miller of Prescott, Ariz.; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Georgene Dillman; two brothers and two sisters.

Born July 26, 1902, in Giard, Iowa, a daughter of Frank and Clara Mayhew Miller, she married George Ferguson in 1927. He died in 1964. Eleva was an active and longtime member of Giard Methodist Church for many years.
