Clayton County Register, Thur., 3 Jan. 1929.
Mrs. Anna (Kelleher) Losch died at her home here in Elkader at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 1928, as a result of heart trouble from which she had been ailing for the past six months.
Anna Kelleher was born October 7, 1855 in New York City, the daughter of Jerry and Catherine Kelleher.
In the year 1879 she was united in holy wedlock with George Losch and to this union four children were born, two preceding the mother in death, as did her husband a number of years ago. Mrs. Losch is survived by two daughters: Mrs. D. B. Simpson of Cheyenne, Wy., and Nell, here at home; one brother, Tom Kelleher, of Elkader also survives.
Deceased came to Clayton county when only two years of age and she had made Elkader her home for the past thirty-three years and during this time she has proven herself in more instances than one to be a kind neighbor and a true friend.
Funeral services were held from St. Joseph's Catholic church here December 24th and interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery, with Rev. J. P. Taken officiating.
