Catharine Quinn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Quinn, of Cox Creek township, died Thursday evening about five o'clock, after a brief illness of peritonitis, in spite of the best medical skill and tender loving care of parents, brothers and sisters.
Deceased was born in said township on Oct. 19th, 1903, and was therefore past eight years of age. Funeral services were held in Sacred Heart church Saturday morning, conducted by Father Hartigan, of Strawberry Point. Deceased is survived by her grief stricken parents, four sisters and six brothers, also by many other relatives, who mourn the loss of their household pet, yet they have the blessed assurance that all is well with the little one in eternity, and the abiding sympathy of neighbors and friends. "Suffer little children to come unto Me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven." - Democrat.
