Garnavillo- Karen J. Bischoff, 40, died Thursday in Mercy Health Center, Dubuque, of a short illness. She was a registered nurse at Central Community Hospital at Elkader.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; two sons, Mark and Gene; a daughter, Lisa; her mother, Berdina Schlueter of Monona; three brothers, Ronald Schlueter of Wauzeka, Wis., Harlan Schlueter of Monona, and Dennis Schlueter of Guttenberg; and two sisters, Elaine Biermann of Guttenberg and DiAna Werger of Garnavillo.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Joseph Catholic church. Burial: Garnavillo City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Tuecke-Allyn's, where there will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Sunday.
