Guttenberg-- An 11-year-old rural Guttenberg boy died Tuesday after being accidentally shot in the chest by another youth.

Dennis Rohner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rohner of rural Guttenberg, was shot about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at his home with a .22 caliber rifle. He died at the Guttenberg Hospital later.

Authorities said an investigation is pending. The name of the youth involved in the shooting was not released.

Services for the Rohner boy are pending at Tuecke-Alenstein's, Garnavillo.
