Garnavillo-- Henry G. Berns, 95, died Tues., Sept. 19, 2000, in Guttenberg Care Center after an illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Garnavillo, by Father Richard Gaul. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo, where a wake service begins at 7 p.m.

Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Bowerman of Coal Valley, Ill., and Janice Rohner of Guttenberg; and a sister, Sister Carla Berns of Dubuque.
