Garnavillo-- Marvel Marie Connell, 67, of rural Garnavillo, died Sunday in Mercy Health Center, Dubuque, after a brief illness. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home where there will be a wake service at 8 p.m.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon; her mother, Daisy Kellogg of rural Garnavillo; three sons, Larry of Green River, Wyo., J. D. of Garnavillo and Lee of Marion; five daughters, Linda Werger of Keota, Dixie Connell of Marquette, Brenda Hagen of Aurora, Calif., Joleen Brandel of Garnavillo and Sandy Connell of Rock Springs, Wyo.; four brothers, Dale, Duwayne and Harold Kellogg, all of Lisle, Ill., and J. P. Kellogg of Strawberry Point; and five sisters, Marion Stroschein of Elkader, Merle Hansel of Garber, Charmion Petsche of Fayette, Rayma McLane of Cedar Rapids and Bonnie Putzier of Northfield, Minn.
