Garnavillo-- Carl J. Meyer, 91, of rural Garnavillo, died Monday, July 21, 1997, in the Elkader Care Center after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, St. Joseph Catholic Church, by the Rev. Richard Gaul. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral home, where a wake service begins at 7:30 p.m.

There are no immediate survivors.
