Guttenberg-- Kenneth Louis Berns Sr., 76, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, in Guttenberg Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Friday, Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, by Monsignor John McClean. Burial: St. Joseph's Cemetery, Garnavillo. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include his children, Sheila Smith, Jennifer Troester, Patricia Judkins, Gladys Moser and Kathy Berns, all of Guttenberg. Kenny Berns of Hopkinton, Mary Fabert of Independence, Mo., Wilfred Berns and Timothy Berns, both of Arlington, Wash, Carroll Berns of Mesa, Ariz., and Todd Berns of Hazelton; and four sisters, Betty Berns, Cecil Heck and Noreen Rowland, all of Garnavillo, and Dorothy Miller of Marquette.
