Oelwein Daily Register, Monday, 5 March 1973.

Elkader-- Edward J. Finley, 67, Elkader, died Saturday at Central Community Hospital, Elkader.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elkader, with burial in the church cemetery. Rosary will be recited tonight, Monday, at Witt funeral Home, Elkader, at 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, John and Patrick, both of Elkader; and one sister.
