Garnavillo-- Louis William Matt, Jr., 86, died Friday morning at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. He was a retired farmer and insurance agent.

Survivors are three daughters, Edith Ann of Dubuque, Annette of Chicago and Vivian Hebb of Sarasota, Fla.; two sons, Louis III of St. Olaf and Francis of Garnavillo; two sisters, Lucile Fassbinder of Dubuque and Veronica Jaeger of Pennsville, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn's, where a rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
