Elkader-- Double funeral services will be held for Mrs. Anna Garaghty, 74, and her son-in-law, Ray Troester, 39, at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's church, Elkader.

Mrs. Garaghty, who had been ill for many months, died of a heart attack at the Elkader hospital at 1 p.m. Sunday. Troester also died of a heart attack, the next morning, at 1 a.m. Monday at his farm home near Elkader.

Rosary will be recited for them Tuesday, 8 p.m. at the McTaggart funeral Home.

Mrs. Garaghty is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Troester and Mrs. Milo Doser, St. Anthony; four grandchildren, a sister and brother, Rose and Oscar, Garnavillo and a brother, Frank Auer, Elkader. Troester is survived by his wife, four children, Dennis, 18; Richard, 16; Susan, 14 and Judy, 10, all at home. Also surviving him are his father, Lewis Troester, who lives on the Troester farm; three sisters, Mrs. Stanley Schroeder, Guttenberg; Mrs. Delbert Hawkins, Garnavillo; Mrs. Keith Thoma, Garnavillo and two brothers, Kenneth, Cedar Rapids and Orville, Garnavillo.
