Guttenberg, Ia. - Funeral services for Carson William White, native of Clayton county, were held at the Bethel Church Wednesday afternoon. Mr. White died Aug. 7.
The Rev. Max Hartsough, pastor of the Fairview Church, conducted the services, and burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. White was born near Osterdock, Mar. 18, 1856, the son of Calvin and Lora White. On July 3, 1877, he was married to Elvina Muters.
Five children were born to this union, two of whom survive. The survivors are Mrs. White; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Mallory and Mrs. Hazel Burnham; a sister, Mrs. Josie Treusdell; and a nephew, Asa White.
