Howard Bahls, 17, of Guttenberg, was killed about 1:30 a.m. Sunday when the car in which he was riding hit a utility pole south of Garnavillo. Carlson Hagen, 16, of Osterdock, the driver, and Bernel Duwe, 19, of Guttenberg, were hospitalized.

NOTE: Howard Bahls is buried in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Garnavillo. Relationships of those named, if any, are unknown.
