McGregor-- Wayne Brooks, 71, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1995, in Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Wis., after a sudden illness. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home, McGregor. Burial: Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn; four daughters, Cheri Woolard of Harpers Ferry, Mary Wirkler of McGregor, Karen Moose of Garnavillo and Jackie Brooks of Patch Grove, Wis.; three sons, Gary of Las Vegas and Harold and Richard, both of McGregor; a brother, Willis of Bella Vista, Ark.; and a sister, Winifred Schmidt of Strawberry Point.
