Mary Kathryn McGee Carnes, 73, died Tuesday, July 4, 1995, in her home after a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Thomas Rhomberg. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Leonard-Witt Funeral Home, where there will be a rosary at 6 and scripture service at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include two sons, John and Robert, and a daughter, Anne Franta, all of Elkader.
