Postville Herald, Fri., 14 Feb. 1919. In the Luana correspondence column.

Mrs. Sarah Ernst formerly of this place died at the home of her daughter at Charles City. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ernst of St. Paul accompanied the remains here Friday for burial.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ernst of St. Paul, have been here a few days, called by the death of his mother, Mrs. Sarah Ernst, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dick Teeters of Charles City. The deceased was 84 years of age. The remains were brought here Friday for burial in the Luana cemetery beside her husband who died a year ago.
