McGregor, Ia. - Funeral services for John Kramer, 69, well-known clothing merchant, were held here Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home.
His death occurred suddenly Saturday night following a heart attack while he was eating dinner at his home.
Mr. Kramer, who had been in the clothing business here the past 30 years, was known as McGregor's biggest booster. He was the founder and later served for 28 years as secretary of the association now known as the Interstate Federal Savings and Loan Association. He also helped organize McGregor's famous Wild Life School.
Surviving are his widow; a son, Louis of Dubuque; and two brothers, Lou of Los Angeles and Fred of Charleston, N.D.
