Elkader, Ia. - William Clinton, 68, of Littleport, employed by the Clayton County Highway Department for many years, died suddenly Saturday of a heart attack.

He was first stricken about 8 o'clock at the County Garage here, where he reported for work. Revived later, he decided he would return to his home. William Madden of Garnavillo and Ralph Oldham of Elkport were driving home with him and after traveling two miles, Clinton suffered a second attack and he died in the car.
