Monona, Ia. - Funeral services for William Baade, 56, who died Monday at a McGregor Hospital after injuries suffered while installing electricity in a farm home near McGregor, were held here Thursday afternoon, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. R.C. Schlueter, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the city cemetery.
Mr. Baade, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Baade, was born on a farm in Giard Township, near Monona, on Mar 5, 1888. He was a graduate of the Monona High School and of Upper Iowa University.
Surviving are a son, Durward Baade, of Monona; three brothers, Henry, Arthur and George Baade, all of Monona; six sisters, Mrs. George Schmitt of Blunt, S. Dak., Mrs. Enoch Anderson, of McGregor, Ia., Mrs. Matilda Kliefoth, Mrs. Fred Gilster, Mrs. John Case, and Mrs. H.F Hupfer, all of Monona; and four grandchildren.
