Monona, Ia. - Funeral services for Mike Peters, 78, who died at his home here Thursday, were held Sunday at Pilgrim Evangelical Church. The Rev. H.W. Raduege, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the city cemetery.

Mr. Peters, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Peters, was born on a farm east of Monona in Allamakee County, on June 11, 1866. He married Emma Moritz on April 10, 1894. The couple made their home on the old homestead, where they resided until 1928, when they retired to Monona.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Ray and Harry Peters, both of Monona; a daughter, Mrs. Homer Dickinson, of Beaver Dam, Wis.; 12 grandchildren, and two brothers, John and George Peters, both of Monona.
