Volga City, Ia. - Funeral services for Michael Hannon, 74, will be held here Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. D.T. Noonan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Cox Creek. Mr. Hannon died Sunday at his home following a long illness.
He was born near here Oct. 15, 1865, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hannon. He was married July 10, 1894 to Julia Glennon. She died Aug. 26, 1899. He made his home on his farm near here with his parents and since their death had lived alone. Two brothers also preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Peter Feeney, Mrs. William Roach, and Mrs. John Shea, all of Volga City; and two brothers, Joseph and Bartholomew, both of Chicago.

Volga City, Ia. - Funeral services for Michael Hannon, 74, were held at Sacred Heart Church here Wednesday with the Rev. D.T. Noonan, pastor, celebrating the requiem mass. The Rev. James P. Hammil of Edgewood delivered the sermon. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Lyle Jennings, Edward Everitt, Joseph Little, Michael Conboy, James Bergan, and Lund Tenney. Mr. Hannon died at his home Sunday following a long illness.
