NYDEGGER, BARTH, CHRISTELEIT

Volga City, Ia. - William Nydegger, farmer north of Volga City, died Friday in Mercy Hospital, Oelwein, as the result of burns received when the gas tank of his tractor exploded as he was filling it. The accident occurred in a field near his home. His young son, William, was slightly burned.

He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Barth, of Decorah; three daughters, Mrs. Norma Christeleit, of Volga, Dorothy and Darlene, both at home; a son, William, at home, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nydegger, of Elgin, Ia.
