Franz Wilhelm Hadrich died Saturday, November 26th, at Aberdeen, S.D., aged 61 years, 11 months and 14 days.
He was born in Saxony, Germany, December 12, 1848 and came to America in 1867, working at Pittsburg, Pa., for a time. In 1868 he came to Elkader and worked for a time for H.C. Grotewohl as a cabinet maker.
He was married to Mrs. Hannah Clark McKellar and six children were born to them, four of whom, two sons and two daughters, survive. They are John and Emil, of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. E.O. Cooley, of Aberdeen, S.D.; and Mrs. B.F. Bassett, of Wilmont, S.D.
Mr. Hadrich was a resident of Elkader until about six years ago, when he moved to South Dakota, where he has since lived.
His remains were brought to Elkader and the funeral services were held in the German church, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Franke. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.

Franz Hadrich died last week at Aberdeen, S.D. but we have been unable to learn particulars. He was for many years a resident of this city and his remains were brought here for interment on Monday, in the east side cemetery. Funeral services were held in the German church Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Franke.
