MCNEIL, LINTON, SEBASTIAN, SUTTON

Mrs. Jennie C. McNeil, aged eighty-six years, passed away October 29th at her home in Pasadena, California.

She was a native of Clayton county, Iowa, where in 1869 she was united in marriage with W.C. McNeil, who preceded her in death in 1931.

They made their home in Monona and Postville until 1906, when they went to southern California to enjoy the more temperate climate.

Although Mrs. McNeil's more recent years were clouded by ill health, she retained the good cheer and the spirit of contentment which had been out-standing characteristics throughout her life.

Surviving are her son, H.A. McNeil; her daughter, Mrs. Charles E. Sebastian; her granddaughter, Mrs. Janet M. Sutton; and a brother, M.F. Linton. - Monona Leader
