Iowa Plain Dealer September 3, 1875, P3 C2

DIED.--At Volga City, August 17th 1875, C. L. Drake, aged 72 years.

The deceased has been a resident of Clayton county about ten years. He was highly respected by all who knew him, as an excellent citizen, a kind neighbor and an indulgent husband and parent,. He was the father of L. H Drake, of Lime Springs, and of Mrs. Henry White, of Volga City.--North Iowa Times.
