DIED

STONEMAN.—In Busti, Chautauqua Co., New York, November 30th, 1874, Catharine, wife of George Stoneman, aged 74 years.

The deceased was the mother of J. T. Stoneman of McGregor. The first intimation he had that she was not in her usual health was a telegram received at this place and handed him on his arrival here last Monday morning in attendance upon the circuit court about to convene then. Speedily arranging his business in court Mr. Stoneman took the afternoon train of that day for New York to perform the last sad duty to a loved and venerated mother. Ripe in years, cherished and respected by a large circle of friends and acquaintances, she has gone to her reward loved and mourned.
