Barbara L. Torkelson, 74, died Friday, April 18, 1997, in Good Samaritan Center, Waukon, after a long illness. Services 11 a.m. Thursday, St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Schultz's Funeral home, Monona.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet Staff and Mary Ball, and a son, David, all of Monona.
