FORMER ELGIN RESIDENT BURIED HERE.

Wm. H. Beyer, 78, Strawberry Point, died March 24 at the Davies Nursing Home. He was a former resident of Elgin many years ago.

The son of August and Mary (Rohn) Beyer was born March 26, 1895, at Clayton Center, Ia. He never married.

Mr. Beyer was a veteran of WWI, serving in France.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Malvin Johnson, Clermont, Mrs. J. H. McCarthy, St. Paul, and Mrs. L. E. Clayton, Sun City, Ariz; two brothers, R. W. Beyer, Jeffersonville, Ind., and Alfred Beyer, Cedar Rapids.

Funeral Services were held Monday P.M. AT Muehlethaler Funeral Home with burial in the Elgin Cemetery.
