Mrs. Leslie Sherbonda

A funeral mass was offered Monday, Dec. 31, 1973, from St. Patrick Catholic Church for Mrs. Leslie Sherbonda. Rev. Donald Heineman officiated and the burial was in the Monona City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Don Huinker, Ron Schultz, Marlyn Henderson, Lester Henderson, Curt Henkes and Wes Wiedenmann.

Alice Lorraine Collins was born August 26, 1902, in Waukon and was a daughter of William and Mary Collins. She graduated from the Waukon schools and was employed as a school teacher. Sept. 2, 1936, she married Leslie Sherbonda. They farmed near Volney until 1954 when they moved to Monona. Leslie died in 1965.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Rose Marie) Buege of Waukon, one granddaughter, Tori, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Art O'Brien of Waukon, Mrs. Dorothy Reusch of Dubuque and Mrs. Howard Comstock of McAllen, Texas.

She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Patrick's Church.
