Edward Kenneally Killed in Korea.

Special to the Gazette. Elkader - Pfc. Edward Kenneally, 23, a paratrooper, has been reported killed in action in Korea.

Notification was received Tuesday by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Kenneally of Littleport.

Pfc. Kenneally was serving with the 18th regimental combat team as a paratrooper and had been in Korea six months.

He enlisted in the army in 1946 and re-enlisted in 1948.

Born and reared on a farm near Elkader, Pfc. Kenneally was graduated from Elkader high school in 1944. He attended Iowa State Teachers college before entering the army.

Survivors, besides his parents, include four sisters, Mrs. John Cowie, Mrs. C. F. Neylan and Mrs. Stephen Leonard of Elkader and Mrs. John Dinan of Littleport, and four brothers, Thomas and Gary, Littleport; Leo, Minneapolis, and Joseph, Elkader.
