DIED- Henry White was born in South Hero, VT, Nov. 6th, 1818, was raised upon a farm and educated, first at the common schools of native town, afterwards attended an acadamy of St. Albums, VT. At the age of 23 was married to Rhoda Mott, and to them were born three children, John, Abbie and Lewis, of whom John is the only survivor, and who resided in Southern Iowa. In 1850 his wife died. In 1852 he was married to Clara P. Drake; in 1860 he moved to Volga City, Iowa. To them were born three children, Wyllis P., H. Warner and Frank B. who reside at Volga City. On the evening of July 14th, 1898, at the age of 79 years and 8 months, tired and weary he passed into that dreamless sleep, to rest, untill the morning triumph shall call us to that eternal home beyond the river.
