Postville Review, Sat., 15 Feb. 1879.

Feb. 10th, 1879, at his residence south of Luana, Stephen H. Thompson, of pleuro-pneumonia, aged fifty years.

Mr. Thompson has resided in Clayton county for twenty-five years, and twenty-four years on his farm near Luana. Perhaps no man in northern Clayton county would be missed more than he. He was universally respected and his death is deeply regretted.
Thus one by one the old land-marks are being obliterated and the old citizens are passing away. Peace to their ashes and consolation to their relatives and friends.
