Alderson, Ralph Delos 1886-1887

On April 4, 1887 occurred the death of Ralph Delos, little son of Fred and Carrie Alderson,
aged 10 months. Little Ralph was sick but four hours, when the angels called him home. He was a
bright child and great is the burden of grief which the loving parents carry in their hearts. He was laid to his last rest in the Strawberry Point Cemetery, April 4, the funeral being largely attended by sympathizing friends.

You are weeping for your little darling,
But your tears are all in vain;
Try and think in your affliction,
That your loss is heaven's gain.
