Mrs. Minna Klingenberg
Mrs. Minna Klingenberg suffered with a stroke last Tuesday afternoon and passed away Saturday noon at 12:30 o'clock at her home without gaining consciousness. She was born in Germany and with her husband came to this country and lived near Clayton Center and then moving on rented farms near Postville; then buying a farm northwest of Postville. About 18 years ago they moved to Luana and two years later Mr. Klingenberg died and since she has lived alone. She was 85 years old. She leaves to mourn her loss one brother who lives in Germany and a number of other relatives. Funeral occurred Monday afternoon in the Lutheran church and burial in the Luana cemetery beside her husband.Postville Herald newspaper clipping, hand dated Feb. 4, 1928, from my mother's obituary collection

Mrs. Mina Klingenberg was stricken with paralysis Tuesday afternoon and passed away Saturday at noon without regaining consciousness. Mr. Linderbaum, daughter Mrs. Althouse of Castalia, and Robert Schmidt of Davenport have been here caring for her. The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Lutheran church. Burial was in the Luana cemetery beside her husband. She was 85 years old and had lived alone for many years.
