Submitter notes:

1885 census of Grand Meadow township, Clayton County, where she is listed as Minna, age 1, living with parents and brothers and sisters living at that time.

Allamakee County website, Woodmansee burial book, Postville cemetery Area A, and look at Schroeder burials to see relationships:

Henry Schroeder 1837 - 1916. Same lot as Mary.
Mary Schroeder 1851 - 1922.
Willie Schroeder 1875 - 1895. Same lot as Mary.
Johnnie Schroeder 1878 - 1895. Same Lot as Mary.
Bertha Schroeder 1880 - 1895. Same lot as Mary.

The Postville Review of 23 February 1895 says;

" A son of Henry Schroeder, a young man grown, died yesterday, in Grand Meadow township, of scarlet fever. Five other children in the same family are down with it, the mother also having suffered from it. It is a sad affliction truly. ".

From the cemetery, census and newspaper article information gained so far it appears these people are all of one family and that Minna/Minnie Schroeder lost three siblings to scarlet fever in 1895; brothers John/Johnnie and William/Willie, and sister Bertha.

More work needs to be done.
