Don G. Glazier Dies
Don G. Glazier, 42 years of age died at the People's Hospital in Independence, Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. He was taken ill Tuesday evening and was removed to the hospital Wednesday noon.
He was born at Edgewood, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George G. Glazier. He came to Independence 12 years ago, following his trade as barber and of late years maintaining his own shop.
He was married here 10 years ago to Mabel Johnson, who survives with a son, Kenneth of Edgewood; a daughter, Lavonne of Independence by a former marriage; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Peick of Edgewood and Mrs. Frank Sherman of Independence; and his mother, Mrs. Bertha Glazier, also of Independence.
His body was taken to Swan & Leytze Funeral Home, where funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Burial was made in the Edgewood cemetery.
