Ryan, IA - Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at Ryan, Tuesday at 2 p.m. for Herman William Graybill, 73, a resident of Ryan for six years, who died at his home Sunday; burial in Oakland cemetery in Manchester.

A son of the late William and Mollie M. (Lucas) Graybill, he was born June 20, 1877, in Clayton county, Iowa, attended public schools in that locality and was married at Elkader, Ia. Sept. 18, 1907, to Annie Kauffman.

Following his marriage, Mr. Graybill lived at Millville, Ia., until 1934, and moved to Ryan from Adams township, Delaware county in 1946. From 1936 to 1946 [he] farmed west of Ryan, and prior to that farmed near Oneida.

His church affiliation was the Methodists. He leaves his wife, of Ryan; three sons, Gerald and Veryl, Ryan; and Wayne, Dundee; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Iona Kenyon, Dubuque and Miss Naome Graybill, Guttenberg. One brother also preceded Mr. Graybill in death.
