BULLIS, BANNISTER

Mr. H. A. Bullis, over seventy-eight years of age, died last Saturday afternoon at four o’clock, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bannister, in North Newton. The old gentleman came here a couple of months ago to visit with his daughter, was taken sick soon after his arrival and for several weeks has been confined to the house – his final illness being dropsy. The body was taken to his late home at Edgewood, in Clayton County, Monday afternoon for interment. Brief services were conducted by Rev. J. C. Willits at the Bannister home Monday morning. ~ The Newton Record, Thursday May 8, 1902, Page 1, Column 6
