"LOESEKE RITES WILL BE HELD HERE ON FRIDAY
Native Resident of Gutternberg Taken by Death Wednesday Noon
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock for Mrs. Mary Loeseke, native resident of Guttenberg who died at noon Wednesday following an extended illness. The services will be held at St. John's Lutheran church in charge of Rev. W. J. F. Adix, pastor. Burial will be in the City cemetery.
Born in Guttenberg
Mrs. Loeseke was born as Mary Borcherding in Guttenberg on June 21, 1863, and had lived her entire lifetime in the community. She was married to Henry Loeseke, who preceded her in death on June 21, 1931. To this union were born eight children, four boys and four girls, all of whom survive. Two of the children, Mrs. Carrie Schlake and Mrs. Roma Geuder live in Guttenberg. All of the children will be in Guttenberg to attend the services.
Eight Children Survive
Survivors of Mrs. Loeseke are Mrs. Schlake and Mrs. Geuder of Guttenberg, Miss Louise Loeseke of Chicago; Miss Myrtle Loeseke of Dubuque; Henry
Loeseke of Beaumont, Texas; Arthur Loeseke of Los Angeles, California; L. W. Loeseke of Pueblo, Colorado, and Floyd Loeseke of Amarillo, Texas.
Other survivors include one brother, William Borcherding, of Guttenberg, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Marmann, also of Guttenberg; as well as nine

GUTTENBERG: Mrs. Mary Loeseke of this city died at her home on Wednesday noon after a lingering illness. Mrs. Loeseke was born in Guttenberg in 1863 and had lived here her entire lifetime.
Funeral services were held in St. John's Lutheran church on Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Rev. W. J. F. Adix officiated and interment was made in the Guttenberg cemetery.
Eight children, namely; Mrs. Roma Gender, Mrs. Carrie Schlake, Miss Myrtle Loeseke, Miss Louise Loeseke and Arthur Henry, Larrel and Floyd Loeseke. One sister, Mrs. Anna Marmann, and one brother, William Borcherding, mourn her death.
