Mildred Wilkins, 87, of Harpers Ferry died Monday, January, 14, at at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 22, 1903 in Linton Township, Allamakee County, to John Clifford and Lottie Decker Campbell. She married Edward Lee Wilkins, February 20, 1923 at Waukon, Iowa.

She and her husband farmed in the area.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in McGregor with Pastor Jim Rozendaal officiating, with interment in the Evergreen Cemetery, rural Waukon. The Martin Funeral Home in Waukon was in charge of arrangements.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in McGregor and active in church activities.

Surviving are a son, Keith Wilkins of Postville and a daughter, Madonna Melcher of Waukon; four grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
