Orton D. Blackwell, 88, of McGregor, died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996, at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Congregational United Church of Christ, with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, both in McGregor. There will be no visitation. The Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home, McGregor, is in charge of arrangements.
