Mrs C. H. Peck Dies Sunday, Oct 8
Agnes Christine Hultgren-Peck, 59, Marquette, died in Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital, Sunday, Oct 8, 1961.
Mrs. Peck, a life-long resident of Marquette-McGregor area was born and raised in McGregor.
She married C. H. Peck, Marquette in June 1918 in Dubuque.
Mrs. Peck was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and is survived by her husband and one son, Dayton Peck of South Bend, Ind., four brothers, Arthur Hultgren, McGregor, Elmer and Jack Hultgren of Garnavillo and Edwin Hultgren, Evanston, IL and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct 11 in St Paul’s Lutheran Church, McGregor with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Rev. Milbrath conducted the services.
The Thornburg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Special to The Gazette - MARQUETTE - Agnes Peck, 60, wife of Marquette Mayor Charles Peck, died Sunday in a Prairie du Chien hospital. Survivors include her husband; a son, Dayton, of South Bend, Ind.; 3 grandchildren, and 4 brothers: Jack and Elmer Hultgren of Garnavillo; Arthur Hultgren of McGregor and Ed Hultgren of Evanston, III. Services: Wednesday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran church. Friends may call at Thornburg funeral home, McGregor.
