Kenneth Harbaugh
Kenneth Harbaugh, 20, was killed Friday, April 22, 1977 while working at Frudden Lumber Company, where he had worked for the past two years. He was crushed by a fork lift. He died of massive chest injuries. He was declared dead at the scene of the accident by the local doctor.
He was a graduate of Starmont High School. He enjoyed bowling, motorcycling, and all outside sports. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Kenneth Keith Harbaugh, was born September 2, 1956 to Keith and Marie (Martens) Harbaugh.
He is survived by his parents, three sisters, Sandra, still at home, Mrs. Harry (Patricia) Morley and Mrs. Jim (Barbara) Hutchinson, both of Strawberry Point. His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Martens of Edgewood. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and by his fiancee, Miss Larita Powell.
Preceding him in death were an infant sister Christine and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Harbaugh.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 25 at 11 a.m.at the United Methodist Church in Strawberry Point. The Rev. Robert Hamilton officiated. Committal was in the Strawberry Point Cemetery. Pall bearers were Paul Engert, Steve Tripp, Jon Sargent, Dave Wagner, Randy Gericke and Dennis Rima.
