Strawberry Point Doctor is Dead
Strawberry Point, Ia., Nov. 29 - Dr. Edward Rawson, 65, was found dead in his car here Sunday morning about 9:30 o'clock. He had gone to his garage to get the machine, intending to take his daughter to Sterline, where she attended school. When he failed to come with the car an investigation was made and he was found sitting in the car with life extinct. It is believed that gas fumes caused his death after he had started the machine. Dr. Rawson was prominent in the community and had been a physician here for 40 years. He leaves a wife and daughter.~Oelwein Daily Register, November 29, 1927
~Note: He is buried in Strawberry Point cemetery.
