Ella Magdalene Connor died Sunday, February 5, 1928, at four o’clock in the
afternoon at the age of 31 years, five months and two days at the home of
her parents here after an illness of two weeks. Death came as the result of
gripp and other complications.

Ella Magdalene Connor was born on a farm in Boardman Township September 3,
1896, the daughter of Eugene and Anna (Heins) Connor. There she lived until
about three years ago when she came to Elkader with her parents, making this
her home since that time.

Deceased is survived by her father and mother, one brother Lester, on the
home farm; four sisters, Mary Connor, Mrs. Edward Brill, Mrs. Merle Mork and
Cathryn Connor and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph’s church at ten o’clock yesterday
morning and interment was made in St. Joseph’s cemetery with Rev. J. P.
Taken officiating.

The bereaved family has the sympathy of friends in their bereavement.
