Beatrice Doeppke, age 76, died Thursday April 16, 1987 at Thornton Manor in Lansing, Iowa. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lansing, Iowa with the Rev. Donald Berg officiating. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Clayton County, Clayton Center, Iowa with Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home of Lansing in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Frank Troendle, Dan Troendle, Paul Troendle, George Troendle, Dean McKee, Darwin Jones, and Scott Jones.

Beatrice was born October 1, 1910 in New Jersey to Frank and Mary (Gallo) Lovadiro. On October 14, 1932 she married Frank Doeppke. He died April 27, 1972.

She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and two grandsons.

Surviving are three daughters, Carol Schaefer of Lansing, Iowa, Frances Jones of Dubuque, Iowa and Patricia James of Denver, Colorado; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
