Beauregard, Margaret 'Peggy' (Carroll) & daughters 1956-1981

Funeral services for Margaret "Peggy" Beauregard, and daughters, Melissa and Jennifer were held Saturday, January 17, 1981 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona, with Msgr. Donald Heineman officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Meehan, Mike Heaverlo, Kendall Benzing, Jim Middendorf, Roger Swanson, John Waterman, Kevin Wille and Jackson Turner. Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, was in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Mary "Peggy" Beauregard, the daughter of Gerald and Katherine (McCullow) Carroll, was born January 8, 1956 at Postville. She attended MFL Community Schools, graduating in 1974. She graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing, Cedar Rapids, in 1977, and nursed at St. Luke's and Mercy Hospital, Oelwein, and was presently employed at People's Hospital, Independence.
She was united in marriage to Keith Beauregard on December 29, 1976, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona. To this union two daughters, Melissa and Jennifer were born.

Peggy died Tuesday, January 13, 1981, at her home in Oelwein, having reached the age of 25 years, 5 days. Preceeding her in death were her two daughters, Melissa and Jennifer; her four grandparents; and a niece, Tamera.

Surviving her are her husband Keith, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Carroll of Monona; three brothers, Paul of Independence, David of Calmar, and Steven of San Diego, California; four sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Stussy, Lansing, Mrs. Marilyn Emerson, Cedar Rapids, Marcia of Salix, and Elizabeth of Greene; and many relatives and friends.
