Services were held Monday, February 7, 1972 at 2:30 p.m.at Schultz's Funeral Home for Mrs. William Kricke. Pastor Langholz officiated.
Mrs. William Kricke, the former Linda Ihde, was born on November 28, 1895 in Monona Township, Clayton County, Iowa, the daughter of William Ihde and Frieda nee Sass. She was baptized in her infancy and was confirmed at St.John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg. On October 23, 1912, she was united in marriage with William Kricke at the parental Ihde home. They lived on a farm in Wagner Township, then moved to Monona and later to Waukon. Since 1953 they have lived at Lansing, Michigan. Mr. Kricke has worked as a farmer and carpenter through the years.
Mrs. Kricke passed away on Thursday, February 3, 1972 at the age of 76 years, 2 months, and 4 days. Surviving are her husband, William and four children, Mrs. Francis (Loraine) Grady of Monona, Iowa, Mrs. Arild (Verda) Rudolph of Lansing, Michigan, Orlanda of San Jose, California, and Mrs. John (Vila) Martin of Lansing, Michigan; also one brother, Herbert Ihde of Monona, and two sisters, Mrs. Hubert (Elsie) Lenth and Hilma Ihde of Monona; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Elmer Ihde.
