THURN, HARLAN J.

Harlan J. Thurn, 52, of Littleport, died Saturday, February 7, 1970 at Edgewood, Iowa. Mr. Thurn was the custodian of the school at Littleport, under the Central Community School System. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hope Lutheran Church with burial in Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Witt Funeral Home in Elkader, Iowa.

Surviving are his wife, Arleene; three sons, Harlan L. of St.Olaf, Gary of Elkader, and Spec. 4 William of Ft. Carson, Colorado; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Marlene) Stone of Cedar Rapids, two sisters, Mrs. Clara Wistrick of Elkader and Mrs. Don (Mabel) Bassler of Evansdale, Iowa and nine grandchildren.
